Christendom 68, Penn State Mont Alto 49

Mont Alto, Pa- Mont Alto women's basketball went up against Christendom for a USCAA Matchup. A 28-point performance from Catherine Thomas led Christendom to the victory over Mont Alto 68-49.

How it Happened

-In the first quarter Christendom kept the pressure up making it hard for Mont Alto to have any success. Going into the second quarter Christendom had an 11-point lead.  

-In the second quarter Mont Alto would find some success with baskets from Dariana Perez and Victoria Kalp.    

-Christendom would keep the pressure up in the third quarter, Mary Pennefather and Catherine Thomas would each have multiple baskets in the quarter.  

-In the end Christendom would Keep the lead out of reach and would end up earning the victory 68-49.

Dariana Perez- 17 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists

Victoria Kalp- 13 points, 2 rebounds

Autumn Fischer- 6 points, 8 rebounds

Christendom Leaders:

Catherine Thomas- 28 points, 10 rebounds, 5 steals

Mary Pennefather- 20 points, 10 rebounds

Regina Bonvissuto- 8 points, 2 rebounds
