Penn State Mont Alto 46, Penn State Hazleton 39 

Hazleton, Pa- Mont Alto women's basketball went up against PSU Hazleton for a USCAA division two matchup. A back-and-forth game turned out to be a win for Mont Alto 46-39, led by Dariana Perez who had a 25-point game.  

How it Happened 

-The first quarter was very close with each team scoring multiple baskets, at the end of the first the score would end up being 8-7 in favor of Mont Alto.    

-In the second quarter Mont Alto would go on a 7-point run making their lead 15-7 with four minutes left until halftime.   

-In the third quarter Hazleton would end up coming back and regain the lead 21-19 with a layup from Brianna Kennedy.  

-Mont Alto would enter the fourth quarter down 31-28, but they would fight back with help from Dariana Perez and Shanez Morales. Mont Alto would end up getting the win after a very strong 25-point performance from Dariana Perez.    

Penn State Mont Alto Leaders: 

Dariana Perez- 25 points, 11 rebounds 

Victoria Kalp- 8 points, 5 rebounds 

Shanez Morales- 7 points, 5 rebounds 

Penn State Hazleton Leaders: 

Brianna Kennedy- 15 points, 11 rebounds 

Azaria Johnson- 11 points, 2 rebounds 

Topaz Williams-Fripp- 4 points, 3 rebounds
