Penn State Mont Alto 55, Penn State Wilkes-Barre 46

Wilkes-Barre, Pa- Mont Alto women's basketball traveled toPSU Wilkes-Barre for a USCAA division two matchup. A strong 21-point performance by Dariana Perez lead Mont Alto to a 55-46 victory over Wilkes-Barre. 

How it Happened

-In the first quarter it was a back-and-forth game with Mont Alto taking the lead into the second quarter. 

-In the second quarter the game was still close with the lead changing multiple times. Towards the end of the second quarter, Mont Alto would pull ahead, making their lead 31-24 going into half time. 

-In the third quarter Dariana Perez kept Mont Alto on top with multiple baskets going into the fourth quarter. 

-In the fourth quarter PSU Wilkes-Barre brought the deficit down to three points, but Mont Alto would not let up and would end up securing the victory, 55-46.

Shanez Morales- 12 points, 3 steals

Victoria Kalp- 9 points, 10 rebounds

Penn State Wilkes-Barre Leaders:

Karma Paez- 13 points, 4 rebounds

Anaja Jackson- 7 points, 2 assists
