Penn State York 67, Penn State Mont Alto 51 

York, Pa- Mont Alto women's basketball went up against PSU York for PSUAC quarterfinal matchup. A 27-point performance from Delaney Burroughs led York to the 67-51 win as they advanced to the semifinals.  

How it Happened

-The first quarter was a close game with PSU York pulling away with two minutes remaining in the quarter, Mont Alto trailed 16-11 after one quarter.   

-In the second quarter shots from Delaney Burroughs and Jillian Foster extended York's lead to 11 points, York led 30-19 going into halftime.  

-In the third quarter Mont Alto made multiple pushes to try and cut down the lead, but York's offense and defense stood strong as they would go into the fourth quarter with a 9-point lead at 49-40.

-In the fourth quarter a shot from Dariana Perez would cut York's lead to seven with five minutes remaining in regulation. The comeback effort fell short as Mont Alto lost 67-51.

Autumn Fischer- 12 points, 3 rebounds

Victoria Kalp- 10 points, 7 rebounds

Penn State York Leaders:

Delaney Burroughs- 27 points, 6 rebounds

Olivia Sell- 16 points, 5 rebounds

Julianna Lesher- 8 points, 4 assists
