2022 Alvernia Invite

Penn State Mont Alto wrestling started off its season at the Alvernia Invite on Saturday afternoon. Nick Kostyak had the top individual finish, placing fourth as he won four of his first five matches. In his third place match, he eventually lost Muhlenberg's Fletcher Goodman by decision 2-0. Luke Lardarello went 2-2 in the 174 pound weight class by winning his first two matches via fall and then dropping the next two by decision. Luis Bones (165 lbs.) and Ron Schilpp (197 lbs.) each picked up a win in their respective weight classes.
