Notre Dame of Maryland 1, Penn State Mont Alto 0

Mont Alto women's soccer took to the road on Wednesday afternoon to face off against Notre Dame of Maryland. Both sides remained scoreless through the first half of play as Mont Alto had two scoring chances early. Katlin Provard put a shot on target in the 5th minute, which was saved by Makaylah Reyes. Alexis Mariano would also have a chance in the first half in the 30th minute, but was stopped by the keeper.

Play remained scoreless until the 78th minute when Laura Lang defeated keeper Kiaya Mouer on an assisted pass from Cyrah Bihler. Mont Alto was unable to get another shot on goal to tie the contest in the games final 13 minutes, falling to 0-3-1 on the season. 

Avery Diehl also recorded a shot on goal in the contest. Goalkeeper Kiaya Mouer was able to stop three of her four shot attempts faced in the losing effort.
