Mont Alto, Pa. – The Penn State Mont Alto women's volleyball team is hosting a Salute to the Military match against PSUAC opponent Penn State Hazleton on Saturday, September 23. Mont Alto enters the match 2-1 overall and will look for it's first conference win of the young season.

The Lions will honor all branches of the United States Military in a tribute to our veterans and the men and women currently serving in the military. Saturday's match is scheduled for 1 p.m. with Mont Alto expected to have a 101-year old veteran in attendance. The volleyball team along with current Penn State Mont Alto student-veteran Chris Seery will designate him as an Honorary Captain for the match as part of the pregame festivities, which also includes a live rendition of the national anthem.

The Penn State Mont Alto Department of Athletics encourages all fans to arrive before 12:30 p.m.
