Muse's Big Statistical Week Earns Her PSUAC Setter of the Week

MONT ALTO, Pa. – Penn State Mont Alto sophomore Katelyn Muse (Hagerstown, Md. / Boonsboro) was named Penn State University Athletic Conference Setter of the Week on Tuesday.

Muse has consistently been Mont Alto's top setter for the past two seasons and helped the Lions to a 4-1 week with the team sitting in third place in the PSUAC at 13-5 overall.  Muse had an incredible 140 assists, 24 service aces and 23 digs, which powered Mont Alto past PSU Hazleton, PSU Lehigh Valley, PSU Scranton and PSU Wilkes-Barre.

The sophomore has become an attacking threat with 13 kills coming in the past weekends PSUAC Quad. Overall, Muse ranks second in the conference with 1.05 aces per set and third in assists per set at 7.95.

Mont Alto returns to action on Wednesday, October 19 in a road match with PSU York. The Lions will look to win their fifth-straight with a 7 p.m. start time.
