Gettysburg College 3, Penn State Mont Alto 0 (5-25, 13-25, 20-25)

Following a first set dominated by the home Bullets, Mont Alto failed to take the remaining two sets versus Gettysburg College as Mont Alto fell 3-0 in the season opening match for the defending USCAA National Champions. 

First Year Elizabeth Trella paced the Mont Alto attack with 26 attack attempts, capitalizing on six kills. Leslie Huckle had 21 attack attempts with two kills. Kylie Denlinger led the team with 12 assists and Gabby Baughman (9) and Brooke Denlinger (7) led the defensive efforts in digs.

York College 3, Penn State Mont Alto 1 (25-20, 21-25, 20-25, 21-25)

After defeating MAC opponent York College in the first set 25-20, the Spartans rallied back to take the next three sets from Mont Alto during game two of the Gettysburg Battlefield Classic on Friday evening.

Washington & Lee 3, Penn State Mont Alto 0 (13-25, 17-25, 16-25)

Gracie Vaughn tallied a team-high 11 kills on 27 attempts to pace the Mont Alto offense. Elizabeth Trella recorded nine kills. Brooke Denlinger (16) and Kylie Denlinger (8) led the defensive effort in digs.

Hood College 3, Penn State Mont Alto 1 (25-23, 20-25, 19-25, 18-25)

After taking a close set one against the Blazers, Hood College battled back to take the next three close sets to finish off Mont Alto in non-conference action. Gracie Vaughn recorded 15 kills on 34 attempts on her way to being named to the All-Tournament Team. Elizabeth Trella and Leslie Huckle each had seven kills.
