Penn State Mont Alto 3, Penn State Beaver 0 (25-10, 25-18, 25-17)

A dominate first set helped propel Penn State Mont Alto to a sweep of Penn State Beaver on Saturday afternoon. Mont Alto took the first set by a final of 25-10 and the final two by a score of 25-18 and 25-17 respectively. With the win, Mont Alto extended its current winning streak to six games.

Leslie Huckle (12) and Gracie Vaughn (11) led the offensive attack in kills. Elizabeth Trella added six kills and Shanez Morales had four. The defensive effort was spread out for Mont Alto with three players having more than six digs, Gabby Baughman had seven while Ashlyn Vandenbree recorded seven. 

The defensive dominance continued at the net as Mont Alto registered nine solo blocks compared to just one from Penn State Beaver. Gracie Vaughn led the way with six solo blocks and Kylie Denlinger had two solo blocks.

Mont Alto will take on Penn State New Kensington at home on Wednesday with a 7 pm first serve.
