Penn State Mont Alto volleyball posted its seventh consecutive victory on Wednesday evening, defeating Penn State New Kensington in straight sets (25-6, 25-12, 25-13).

Gracie Vaughn recorded a team-high 14 kills on 16 attack attempts, Abigail Wagner was tied for second on the team converting seven kills on ten attempts. Elizabeth Trella also registered seven kills on 23 attempts.

Gabby Baughman (9) and Brooke Denlinger (7) were the team leaders in digs, accounting for 16 of the team's 34 of the match.

In addition to her 14 kills, Gracie Vaughn provided a great defensive effort with two solo and two assisted blocks. Shanez Morales and Mackenzie Ginder also recorded an assisted block.

Penn State Mont Alto led the match in service aces 10-2 with Brooke Denlinger leading the team with three. Gabby Baughman and Zoey McCormack each added two service aces a piece.

Mont Alto will travel to Greater Allegheny on Friday evening in a pivotal PSUAC match with a 7pm start time.
