Penn State Mont Alto 3, Penn State Beaver 0 (25-7, 25-18, 25-7)

Penn State Mont Alto volleyball finished off a perfect 12-0 regular season in the PSUAC West with a 3-0 sweep over Penn State Beaver on Senior Day Saturday afternoon.

Many Nittany Lions were involved in the winning effort on Saturday afternoon, as the #1 seeded Mont Alto will host #4 Beaver on Wednesday evening in the first round of the PSUAC Playoffs at 7 p.m.

Leslie Huckle had seven kills and Gracie Vaughn tallied six to pace the Mont Alto offense. Brooke Denlinger and Kylie Denlinger each recorded nine digs to lead the team.

Mont Alto was dominate at the net, winning the blocks battle 7-1 with one solo and twelve assisted blocks.

Gracie Vaughn was responsible for one solo and six blocking assists on the afternoon.

Mont Alto also had the dominate service game on Saturday with twelve service aces. Kylie Denlinger (4), Gabby Baughman (4) and Ashlyn Vandenbree (3) combined for 11 of the twelve aces.

Zoie Reid led Penn State Beaver with eight kills on 20 attack attempts. Sofia Perez also had nine digs for the visitors.

Following the game, Penn State Mont Alto recognized Mackenzie Ginder, Brooke Denlinger, Clara Geesaman, Kylie Denlinger and Gabby Baughman, who each participated in their final regular season home match of their careers on Saturday.
