MONT ALTO, Pa.- Mont Alto picked up another non-conference victory by defeating Christendom in three sets to improve to .500 overall on the young season. Gracie Vaughn was efficient on the attack finishing 12 of her 19 attacks for kills.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-Ahead 8-4 in set one, Mont Alto extended its advantage to 14-4 behind the serve of Andrea Lammi-McLean. Elizabeth Trella recorded two kills during the rally and Nia Moore had one. 

-Christendom came out strong in set two, building a 9-7 lead in the early going. Behind the service of Kiera Mouer, Mont Alto reeled off seven straight points to move ahead 13-9. The run forced a Christendom timeout.

-Mont Alto held a 17-15 lead in set two and went on the win 8 of the next 11 points to win set two 25-18.

-Mont Alto won the first six points of the third set and got out to a 13-4 advantage early before taking the final set 25-14.
