Alexis Moreno Earns PSUAC Runner of the Week

MONT ALTO, Pa. - Penn State University Athletic Conference announced today cross country runner Alexis Moreno (Boiling Springs, Pa. / Boiling Springs) was named as it's Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week. The Lions competed at Union Park in Fredrick, Md. at the Hood College Invitational.

Competing against 11 other institutions most of which were NCAA Division III, Alexis Moreno (Boiling Springs, Pa. / Boiling Springs) had a season best finish of 35:23.70 in the Hood College Invitational. Moreno crossed the finish line 82nd and was the top female finisher for Mont Alto.

The Lions are currently training for the PSUAC Cross Country Championships that is hosted by Mont Alto at Norlo Park. The races are on Saturday October 28 at 1 p.m. and 1:45 p.m.
