• Brady Brooks plated two runs on his first inning RBI base hit, putting Cincinnati Clermont on top early, 2-0.

• Penn State Mont Alto quickly tied the game in the second inning. Darian Mort scored Caiden Smith on a RBI groundout after Smith recorded a double to leadoff the inning. Brady Bigler tied the game at 2-2 on his RBI single.

• Hayden Kissel gave Penn State Mont Alto its first lead of the contest in the third inning on his RBI single to left field. Penn State Mont Alto went on top 3-2 after three innings.

• Cincinnati Clermont scored one run in the bottom of the fifth inning when Joe Steiden reached on a fielders' choice.
