How It Happened

-A Quadere Allen bucket gave Central Penn a 24-22 lead with 8:12 remaining in the first half.

-Dariel Rivera and Quintyn Flemister went on their own 11-0 run to give Penn State Mont Alto a 33-24 advantage three minutes later.

-The shorthanded Lions were able to build a 39-32 halftime lead behind Flemister's team-high 13 first half points. He shot 4 for 5 from the field and 4 for 4 from the free throw line.

-Central Penn took some second half momentum to get within one point, trailing 47-46 with 13:48 remaining on a Rodney Ross basket.

-With 2:20 remaining, Dariel Rivera pushed Penn State Mont Alto out to its second largest advantage of twelve, leading 74-62.

Game Notes

-Newly inserted starter Caleb Eckert played a career-high 37 minutes on Saturday, recording six points on 3 of 5 shooting.

-Dariel Rivera also saw a season-high 29 minutes off the bench, scoring a season-high 12 points.

-Quintyn Flemister's 23 points were the second most he's scored this season, he previously scored 26 points on 11/20 against Penn State York.

-Penn State Mont Alto sealed the game at the foul line, making 17 of 20 attempts (85%).

-Penn State Mont Alto held a 37-24 rebounding advantage.
