Penn State Mont Alto 90, Penn State DuBois 69
Caleb Eckert followed up a 31 point performance on Tuesday with a team-leading 22 on a near perfect 10 of 11 shooting from the field. Nathan Osei also had a strong game with 19 points as Mont Alto defeated DuBois 90-69.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
-Following a Nathan Osei layup to go ahead 20-15, DuBois Kaleb Pryor made a jumper to cut the visitors deficit to three.
-Mont Alto would go on to score 11 of the next 16 points to go ahead 31-20 with 3:27 remaining in the opening half.
-After Jaiquil Johnson converted on one free throw, Caleb Eckert made a tip-in and Cameron Williams converted on a jump shot to push the Mont Alto advantage to 41-25.
-As Mont Alto led 43-30, DuBois cut the deficit to ten as Pryor converted on a three point play.
-Mont Alto shortly pushed the lead back up to 20 points, leading 58-38 following a Taralle Hayden layup with 13:43 remaining in the game.
-A Kyron Harbin layup with 8:53 left saw DuBois trailing 62-49.
-Mont Alto inflated the lead to 22 following a Bryson Fleming layup and a Cameron Williams free throw. Mont Alto led 83-61 late.
