River Terry scores tenth goal, Mont Alto drops non-conference match 2-1

Christendom 2 (5-8-1), Penn State Mont Alto (2-10-2 overall, 2-4 PSUAC) 1

Penn State Mont Alto men's soccer took on Christendom for the second time this season following a 4-4 tie during their previous meeting earlier this year. The two teams combined for three first half goals and none in the last 45 minutes of play as Christendom took Thursday's match by a final of 2-1.

Christendom's Joe Madigan would tie the contest in the 21st minute as he squeeked a free kick past the wall of Mont Alto defenders and past Mont Alto's keeper Scott Stanko Jr.

Christendom took the lead in the 32nd minute when Ryan Welch followed a Luke Luckey pass and went top shelf for the goal from 20 yards out.

Bryce Kylor had five shots to lead the Penn State Mont Alto attack, two of which were on target. River Terry also had two shots on goal for Penn State Mont Alto. John Paul Tsakanikas led the Christendom offense with three shots on goal. Bobby Vander Woude and Ryan Welch each had two.
