Manor 3, Penn State Mont Alto 1

 

Mont Alto Men's Soccer dropped its fifth straight game on Monday afternoon, losing to Manor by a final of 3-1 in USCAA action.

 

The first half remained tight knit throughout as Yousouf Doucoure was able to take a tough centered pass and beat Zach Stum for a 1-0 advantage at the 25 minute mark. Manor outshot Mont Alto 16-1 in the first half.

 

Manor built a 2-0 lead when Kounda Doucoure finished off a ball which trickled about ten yards out. Eddie Fortescue Jr. extended the lead to 3-0 on a pass from Adan Crispin-Morales at the 81 minute mark.

 

Mont Alto cut into the deficit with a goal by Garrett Haskell in the 85th minute.

 

Mont Alto outshot Manor 11-8 in the second half. Kynn Loss and Thomas Oberholzer paced the Mont Alto offense with two shots on goal each.

 

Zach Stum recorded ten saves on thirteen shots for the Nittany Lions.
