Penn State Lehigh Valley 98, Penn State Mont Alto 62

Dariana Perez scored a team-high 27 points in Mont Alto's losing effort against #1 seed from the East Division Lehigh Valley on Friday evening. Samantha Columna shot 10 of 17 from the field for Lehigh Valley and scored 24 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-Down 6-3 early, Autumn Fischer and Kaleigh Hartman helped Mont Alto go on a 4-0 spurt to take an early 7-6 lead with 6:51 left in the first quarter.

-Dariana Perez connected on a jumper to trim the deficit to 23-15 before Lehigh Valley ended the quarter with four consecutive points. 

-Columna and Torretta combined for 18 points in the second quarter to take a 51-30 halftime lead for Lehigh Valley.

-Mont Alto shot 5 of 19 from the field in the third quarter, Perez led the way with six as Mont Alto found itself down 75-44 after three quarters. 

-Perez and Hartman scored 16 of Mont Alto's 18 fourth quarter points as Mont Alto dropped the PSUAC contest 98-62.
