Penn State Mont Alto 50, Penn State Lehigh Valley 43

Mont Alto, Pa- Mont Alto women's basketball went up against PSU Lehigh Valley for a USCAA division two matchup. A close game ended up going Mont Alto's way as they would earn the 50-43 victory over PSU Lehigh Valley.

How it Happened

-The first quarter was a back-and-forth battle with PSU Lehigh Valley coming out on top at the end of the quarter, leading 12-9.

-In the second quarter Mont Alto would end up taking the lead with a layup from Shanez Morales making the score 20-19. Later in the same quarter Lehigh Valley would end up tying the game at 23-23 going into halftime with a layup from Journey Handy.  

-Throughout the third quarter the game would still be a back-and-forth battle with each team making important baskets.

-In the fourth quarter Mont Alto would go on a streak making their lead 50-40 which would end up being enough for the win over PSU Lehigh Valley.

Dariana Perez- 15 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists

Shanez Morales- 13 points, 13 rebounds

Autumn Fischer- 10 points, 8 rebounds

Penn State Lehigh Valley Leaders:

Sydney Larmond- 14 points, 7 rebounds

Journey Handy- 10 points, 5 steals

Kennedy Armistead- 7 points, 5 assists
