Early deficit not enough to overcome for women's soccer

Goals by Montgomery College in the 12th and 28th minute were all the Raptors needed on Tuesday evening as they defeated Penn State Mont Alto by a tally of 2-0. Montgomery College outshot Penn State Mont Alto on goal 10-2. Sabrina Di Marzio found the net in the 12th minute on an assist by Mara Pizzano and Nieve Barry scored on an unassisted tally later in the first half.

Madison Eberly and Avery Diehl recorded the two shots on goal for Penn State Mont Alto, both being saved by Montgomery College goalkeeper Lizzy Mayo. 

Kiaya Mouer and Lilianna Galloway split halves in goal for the Nittany Lions, Mouer recorded four saves on six shot attempts and Galloway stopped all four of her shot attempts.
