Penn State Mont Alto 4, Gallaudet 1

Penn State Mont Alto women's soccer extended its current winning streak to eight games following a non-conference win over Gallaudet on Tuesday evening by a final of 4-1. 

Madison Eberly scored the game's first goal four minutes in on an assist from Alexis Mariano on a crossing pass. Mont Alto outshot the opposition 14-0 in the first half but was unable to add to the lead in the first half. 

Rachel Merrill scored her third goal of the season in the 65th minute on a fastbreak assist from Avery Diehl. Gallaudet would move to within one goal in the 71st minute when Ashley Harlicker scored her 12th goal of the season. Alexis Mariano (74') and Madison Eberly (86') added the insurance goals in the second half to push the lead to 4-1.

Eberly led the offensive efforts for Mont Alto with five shots on goal. Merrill was second on the team with three shots on goal. Goalkeeper Kiaya Mouer picked up her eighth win of the year, allowing just one goal in the game.
