PITTSBURGH, Pa.- The Mont Alto women's soccer team traveled to Pittsburgh, Pa on Wednesday evening for a non-conference matchup with Carlow University. Following 90 minutes of hard fought action, the Nittany Lions came away with a draw. 

IN GOAL:

Carlow- Lyndsey Szekely 0 saves, 0 goals allowed

Mont Alto- Sophie Bowersox 16 saves, 0 goals allowed

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-Carlow applied pressure on the Mont Alto side from the start, accumulating 10 first half shots and 14 second half shots. Carlow outshot Mont Alto for the game 24-1.

-The Mont Alto defense and goalkeeper Sophie Bowersox stood tall and didn't allow a ball through the net as Bowersox tallied 16 saves in the contest.
