Russell Fleming was named the Penn State Mont Alto women's volleyball assistant coach prior to the 2017 season. Fleming assists head coach Randy Hood in practices, scouting and recruiting.

Fleming comes to Mont Alto after serving as the Assistant Sports Information Director/Assistant Volleyball Coach at Penn State Harrisburg for the past three seasons. While at PSU Harrisburg, Fleming was responsible for direct oversight of student-athlete strength and conditioning sessions of the NCAA Division III program, he assisted in recruiting efforts, coordinated team travel and video exchange with other teams, as well as participated in team fundraising efforts.

Coach Fleming currently serves as the head women's volleyball coach at the YMCA West Shore as well as the Marketing Coordinator for the Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Association.

He earned his bachelor's degree in sport management/marketing & communications in 2014 from Waynesburg University. Fleming is an active USA Volleyball Keystone Region Member and currently resides out of Mechanicsburg, Pa.
